Your freeze action of a moving object is very effective, The pink light on the left hand side gives is a nice interest and the dark background provides a great contrast. The little blue spec of light acts like focal point. The photo with blur could have been more definitive, as in more blurring - I can't really understand what the fellow is doing, blurring it wouldn't make a difference but it might be more interesting.
